For many, this is a fond throwback to their childhood, utilizing the original set of Pocket Monsters in updated TCG artwork

Damage ping is a deck strategy thats long been supported but far less frequently played, so its nice to see a starter deck that leans into it

Just having that trigger a single time is worth the cost a of 1-mana enchantment, and anything beyond that is insane value

you could also use things like Silent-Blade Oni, Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni, and Fallen Shinobi for extra stealing fun, but given that they're Ninjas, they don't work as well without a dedicated Ninja strategy
