Description

so a slip might be recommended

It appears to be hand painted but may be a combination of hand painting and transfer print - I cant imagine the tiny rose festoons being totally hand done

which is a Courreges size code that I don’t have an equivalent for - the lady from whom this came usually wore a size 6-8

The peignoir is made with a V shaped neckline and short large puff sleeves

Color: Three tones of brown (light to dark) with beige

Vintage 1930s MIJ Sugar Shaker Muffineer Enamel Painted Peach Lustre Made in Japan tweed so a slip might beThis is a wonderful 1930s or 40s vintage sugar shaker, aka muffineer or sugar caster, finished in a peach lustre glaze and enamel painted in a floral cherry blossom design in white and black. The piece is unmarked on the underside but is undoubtably made in Japan. It measures 6 5 8 in height with a diameter of about 2 5 8 at its widest. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear, but a bit of the cork stopper is missing, very minor.
